Message from CEO
CEO: Shinya Sumizawa
MAN-URA has grown as a fruit and vegetable retailor since the Meiji period (1869).
We, an intermediate distributor, deal in fruits and vegetables distributed to the market from all over the country and sell them to supermarkets and retailers.
We don’t sell our products directly to general customers since we are an intermediate distributor. The fruits and vegetables we stock, however, will be served at the table and bring four seasons at homes of those who take back our products. The products will produce “a cheerful dining table.”
Needless to say, fruits and vegetables must be cooked and served at the table fast while they are fresh. A rigid product control is crucial. In order for our customers to enjoy the best color, aroma and taste of our products, we cooperate closely in processes from harvest to shipment with farmers.
Fruits and vegetables served in the best conditions will create “a cheerful dining table.” MAN-URA’s mission is to create such a day-to-day happy and cheerful dining table. We will continue our effort for many people to enjoy “a day-to-day happy and cheerful dining table.”
